KYIV. Oct 16 (Interfax-AVN) - The military and technical cooperation between Ukraine and Georgia was conducted in full compliance with the standards of the international regime of export control and national law.
This was the conclusion made by the working group under the National Security and Defense Council apparatus. The working group included officials of the executive power and special services.
The working group conducted "a comprehensive analysis of all aspects of the military and technical cooperation between Ukraine and Georgia," the National Security and Defense Council told Interfax.
"The Ukrainian special exporters did not export weapons to Georgia during the Russian-Georgian conflict and they never supplied military equipment under the guise of humanitarian cargo," it said.
