Ingushetia prosecutors says military convoy attacked by 30 men

MAGAS. Oct 20 (Interfax-AVN) - Up to 30 militants participated in the attack on military convoy in Ingushetia on Saturday, said Ingush prosecutor Yury Turygin.

"According to early reports, a group of up to 30 militants attacked the military convoy. The group is now being searched for in the wooded area," Turygin told Interfax.

The militants attacked an internal troops' convoy in Ingushetia's Nazran district on Saturday, according to the headquarters of the joint grouping of troops in North Caucasus. The incident occurred near the village of Galashki. Two soldiers were killed, another five were wounded, a headquarters official said.
