MOSCOW. Oct 20 (Interfax-AVN) - The Simpler Consulting international company has organized a seminar for medium-ranking managers of the Novosibirsk Aviation Plant of the Sukhoi Holding, says a company report received by Interfax-AVN on Monday.
The seminar was focused on lean-management techniques. Simpler Consulting is the world leader in teaching lean-management to corporate personnel.
"The seminar aimed to teach plant executives lean-management techniques and to ensure their use," the company said.
The technologies will upgrade industrial culture, optimize paperwork and develop interaction with suppliers. They will also help save time in technological processes, Sukhoi said.
The training sessions began in April. About 90 plant managers have been trained so far. The plant administration wants to make the training universal. A similar training session will be given to representatives of supplying companies, Sukhoi said.
