MOSCOW. Dec 1 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev supported India's actions to clean the aftermath of the Mumbai terrorist attack in a telephone conversation with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Sunday.
"The Russian president expressed solidarity and sympathy to the Indian people over the tragic events in Mumbai. He also voiced support to actions that Indian authorities made and are making to clean the aftermath of the large-scale attack of terrorists," the Russian presidential press service reported.
"Both parties stressed the intention to activate interaction in the anti-terrorist area," the press service said.
