MOSCOW. Jan 16 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Defense Ministry has denied media reports alleging that it plans to set up naval bases in Libya, Syria, and Yemen.
"This information is not an official position of either the Russian Defense Ministry or the Navy, and hence, it is inaccurate," Cap. 1st Rank Igor Dygalo, a Russian Navy spokesman, told Interfax on Friday.
