MOSCOW. Jan 27 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko talked by telephone on Tuesday.
"The presidents discussed practical aspects of the preparations for a bilateral and multilateral summits to be held in Moscow in early February - a bilateral summit meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, and multilateral summits of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEc)," the Kremlin reported.
Special emphasis was laid on the CSTO's joint rapid reaction forces. "Medvedev and Lukashenko said that relevant decisions on the formation of the rapid reaction corps must be made as soon as possible," the Kremlin said.
