MOSCOW. Feb 9 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian government will adjust the mechanism of state control over private security firms, and the government presidium on Monday will hear a bill to revise Article 10 of the Law on Police, the Cabinet said on its website.
"The bill aims to complete the laws regulating interior ministry inspections of organizations which by law have the right to guard facilities and property," the Cabinet said.
The bill proposes that the Law on Police be supplemented with a provision, giving the government the right to establish the procedure of inspecting firms that guard organizations.
"If the bill is passed, effective state control will be established over how organizations, which guard facilities and property, observe the requirements to anti-terror and anti-crime protection systems," the government said.
