NALCHIK. Feb 11 (Interfax-AVN) - A police officer was injured when an explosive device went off in Nalchik, the capital of Russia's Kabardino-Balkaria Republic, at around 10:40 p.m. on Tuesday.
"An unidentified explosive device blew up near Nalchik's central market on Akhokhola Street (former Pervomaiskaya Street) outside the Sultan store. A policeman was injured in the explosion. He was hospitalized," a source in local law enforcement services said.
