RAMALLAH. Feb 16 (Interfax-AVN) - The upcoming Moscow conference on the Middle East will launch the peace process anew, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"In the coming days and weeks, jointly with the four mediators, the Arab nations, we shall develop conditions for calling a Moscow conference. This forum will have a universal backing," Lavrov said following the talks with the Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas.
"I am sure we shall be able to successfully hold the forum and launch anew the peace process which suffered because of the Gaza crisis," Lavrov said.
