Ukrainian Security Service questions leader of Russian Community of Simferopol

KYIV. April 23 (Interfax-AVN) - Officials from the Ukrainian Security Service have questioned Tatyana Yermakova, leader of the Russian Community of Simferopol, in connection with the investigation into a criminal case involving the organization Sevastopol-Crimea-Russia, the Ukrainian Security Service press center told Interfax on Thursday.

The Ukrainian Security Service said Yermakova was released after the questioning.

Some media earlier reported that the journalist had been detained.

According to earlier reports, the Crimean Court of Appeals sees the criminal case involving Valery Podyachiy and Semyon Klyuyev, activists of the People's Front Sevastopol-Crimea-Russia, as encroachments on the territorial integrity of Ukraine. The claim against the activists was brought by the Main Department of the Ukrainian Security Service in Crimea.
