Russia will provide military, other necessary help to S.Ossetia - Naryshkin

MOSCOW. May 14 (Interfax-AVN) - Chief of the Russian presidential administration Sergei Naryshkin has confirmed Russia's plans to help South Ossetia in various spheres, including militarily.

"Russia provided and will provide all necessary economic, political and, where necessary, military aid to South Ossetia," Narushkin said in an interview with the Vesti television channel on Thursday.

The upcoming parliamentary elections in South Ossetia on May 31 "will prove the chosen course towards independence, towards strengthening South Ossetia's statehood, and, most importantly, towards the inviolability of the Constitution and its provisions, the unacceptability of any constitutional changes in favor of some political changes," said the chief of the Russian presidential administration.
