MOSCOW. June 10 (Interfax-AVN) - The police have detained a militant in the village of Alleroi, Chechnya, a source in law enforcement has told Interfax.
The source said the detainee had belonged to the militant group of Temerliyev in August 2008 and taken part in setting the house of head of the village administration in Baitarki on fire. The detainee is also charged with the theft of a handgun from a police officer.
A collaborator of militants was detained in the village of Valerik who in January-April 2009 supplied members of Musikhanov's militant group with food. The detainee indicated the place of a cache containing two RPG-26 grenade-launchers.
