MOSCOW. June 29 (Interfax-AVN) - Any agreements with NATO on military transit to Afghanistan across Russia are impossible before the Moscow visit of U.S. President Barack Obama, Russian Permanent Representative to NATO Dmitry Rogozin said in a TV link-up from Brussels on Monday.
"I do not think we may agree with NATO on military transit before the Moscow visit of Obama. That is out of the question," he said.
"As for the possible transit of commodities of a particular country for the contingent stationed in Afghanistan, Russia has agreements to that effect with France, Germany and Spain. The United States and another country I would not name have made similar requests," he said.
"The issue will be discussed during the Moscow visit of Obama," Rogozin concluded.
