Baltic Fleet officer accused of bullying subordinates

KALININGRAD. July 2 (Interfax-AVN) - A Baltic Fleet officer has been accused of physically bullying his subordinates, Lt. Col. Sergei Neilenko, spokesman for the fleet's investigation department, told Interfax.

"A criminal case has been started against the captain on charges of abuse of power and of committing and threatening to commit violence. He was blamed for beating up three subordinates, drafted in spring 2009, at different times," Neilenko said.

The charges have been referred to court, he said.
