MOSCOW/WASHINGTON. July 14 (Interfax-AVN) - The launch of the shuttle Endeavor to the International Space Station (ISS) has again been postponed by 24 hours because of a thunderstorm over the launch site at Cape Canaveral (Florida, U.S.).
Another attempt to launch the shuttle will be made at 2:03 a.m. Moscow time on Wednesday, NASA said on its website.
Initially, the shuttle was due to be launched on June 13. A few hours before the launch a hydrogen leak was found in the spacecraft's fuel system. The launch was postponed until June 17, but did not take place on that day because specialists failed to remove the gas leak.
Another attempt to launch the shuttle into space was scheduled for last Sunday, but failed due to a storm raging over the launch pad.
The weather also prevented the launch on Monday.
The shuttle Endeavor's launch has thus been delayed for the fifth time.
