MOSCOW/NAZRAN. Aug 3 (Interfax-AVN) - Three employees of Ingushetia's emergency rescue service were killed when their car came under fire in the village of Achaluki in the republic's Malgobek district on Sunday morning.
As yet unidentified persons traveling presumably in a black-colored Lada Priora car fired shots on a VAZ-2112 car carrying three employees of Ingushetia's emergency rescue service on a Karabulak-Achaluki motorway at around 8:45 a.m. on August 2, a rescue service spokesman said.
The service's employees died from wounds sustained in the incident at the scene, and the attackers managed to flee, the spokesman said.
The Ingush branch of the Investigation Committee of the Russian Prosecutor General's Office has opened a criminal case based on charges of murder and the illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, he said.
