KYIV. Aug 7 (Interfax-AVN) - President Viktor Yushchenko has praised the dynamic development of the relations between Ukraine and the United States.
"In our view, these [U.S.-Ukraine] relations are growing very dynamically. We have clear goals of these relations," the president said at a meeting with a delegation of U.S. congressmen in Kyiv on Friday.
The Ukrainian leadership is maintaining an active dialog with the U.S presidential administration, Yushchenko said.
The democratic processes in Ukraine are being "greatly supported" by the U.S. administration, both the previous and current ones, head of state said.
"For us it is very important to have an active dialog both with the U.S. authorities and the U.S. opposition," said the president, adding that this visit is very important for Ukraine.
