SOCHI. Aug 19 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian Deputy Interior Minister Arkady Yedelev will temporarily coordinate the work of Ingushetia's interior ministry, said Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
"In order to ensure proper work in Ingushetia I have decided to send Col. Gen. Yedelev, Deputy Interior Minister, there, who will temporarily coordinate the work of all agencies and subdivisions of the Interior Ministry in Ingushetia," Medvedev said at a meeting with security, law enforcement and interior officials in Sochi on Tuesday.
The meeting was attended by Federal Security Service chief Alexander Bortnikov, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, head of the Russian Prosecutor's Office Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin and Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev.
