GROZNY. Aug 21 (Interfax-AVN) - Two explosions tore through the center of Grozny, the capital of Russia's North Caucasus republic of Chechnya, on Friday, a source in the Chechen Interior Ministry told Interfax.
"Two policemen are believed to have been killed in an explosion that occurred in Pervomaiskaya Street (Leninsky district). A young man riding a bicycle presumably approached traffic police officers and blew himself up," the source said.
"The consequences of the second blast, which took place in Zhukovsky Street (Oktyabrsky district), are still being specified," he said.
