KYIV. Oct 23 (Interfax-AVN) - Cooperation between the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Ukraine will develop in the same direction, regardless of who becomes the country's next president, said Robert Simmons, NATO's Assistant Secretary General and Special Representative to the South Caucasus.
Ukraine is continuously and coherently moving closer to NATO, and despite the presidential election, whoever comes to power, cooperation between NATO and Ukraine will be just as coherent as it was before, Simmons told Ukrainian journalists in Kyiv on Friday.
