Medvedev hosts Russian Security Council session

GORKI, Moscow region. Oct 30 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has hosted a meeting with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council, Kremlin press secretary Natalya Timakova said on Friday.

Taking part in the meeting were Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, presidential chief of staff Sergei Naryshkin, Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Sobyanin, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov, Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev, Federal Security Service (FSB) Director Alexander Bortnikov, Foreign Intelligence Service chief Mikhail Fradkov, Federation Council Chairman Sergei Mironov, and State Duma Chairman Boris Gryzlov.

"The meeting dealt with various aspects of Russia's domestic and foreign policy," Timakova said.
