MOSCOW. Dec 24 (Interfax-AVN) - The Sukhoi Superjet 100 engine will be ready by summer 2010, member of the State Duma Transportation Committee Anatoly Lisitsyn said on Wednesday.
No more than 15 engines will be produced next year, he said.
So far, the SaM146 engine is being certified.
The engine is a joint product of Russia's Saturn and French partner Snecma. Saturn is preparing to start the batch production of the engine.
