KYIV. Feb 8 (Interfax) - Ukraine's Foreign Ministry has confirmed that Danish special forces have rescued from Somali pirates a ship whose crew includes four Ukrainians.

"According to our information, none of the crewmembers was hurt during their release from captivity," the ministry press service said.

The service said the ship, bulk cargo carrier Ariella, had resumed its voyage to Indonesia and that the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry was maintaining permanent contact with the captain.

Earlier, Russian website Maritime Bulletin-Sovfracht said Somali pirates had captured the Ariella in the Gulf of Aden.

The ship's crew also includes nationals of the Philippines, Slovenia, India, and Bulgaria.

The vessel was en route from Sevastopol, Ukraine, to Surabaya, Indonesia.
