NAZRAN. Feb 15 (Interfax) - A police vehicle came under attack in Verkhniye Achaluki in Ingushetia's Malgobek district on Monday, a source at the Ingush department of the Prosecutor General's Office Investigation Committee told Interfax.
The incident occurred on a small road at about 3:00 p.m. Moscow time.
"The car of an Ingush traffic police officer and his passenger came under gunfire. Both men were wounded and taken to hospital," he said.
Forensic experts are working at the scene, and a search operation to find the attackers is underway.
