MOSCOW. Feb 18 (Interfax) - The international space company Kosmotras (ISC Kosmotras) plans to launch a military conversion carrier rocket Dnepr with Swedish and French satellites in April, the company's deputy director for marketing Alexander Serkin told Interfax-AVN on Tuesday.
"The Dnepr will take off from the Yasny base in Orenburg region," Serkin said.
Under a signed contract the launch will be carried out on April 6, he said.
"The satellites and equipment will be delivered to Yasny in early March. The launch schedule will be updated in late February," Serkin said.
The Russian-Ukrainian carrier rocket Dnepr, based on the RS-20 intercontinental ballistic missile (NATO reporting name Satan), will blast off from the launch site of the Russian Strategic Rocket Forces' Dombarovsky Division in Orenburg region to put the Swedish satellite Prisma (an assembly of two space vehicles Mango and Tango) and the French satellite Picard into orbit.
