MOSCOW. Feb 24 (Interfax) - Three people were detained during the Yabloko Party's unauthorized rally not far from the Defense Ministry building in central Moscow on Tuesday.
"As soon as the party leader Sergei Mitrokhin and reserve major general Anton Goretsky unrolled a poster which said, "Military pensions - national disgrace," police seized them straight away and escorted them to the bus. Where they were taken to is unclear so far," Yabloko Press Secretary Igor Yakovlev told Interfax.
Party activist Artur Grakhovsky has also been detained, he said.
Up to ten people came to the rally protesting low military pensions, Yakovlev said.
The rally was held at the beginning of the Gogolevsky Boulevard, near the monument to Gogol, which is not far from the Defense Ministry.
