Highly unlikely that Medvedev, Sarkozy will go into details of sanctions against Iran – source

MOSCOW. Feb 26 (Interfax) - At their Paris talks the presidents of Russia and France will not be discussing details of possible sanctions against Iran, a Russian diplomatic source has said.

"I don't think that the details of sanctions will be discussed at the Paris talks of Dmitry Medvedev and French President Nicholas Sarkozy," the source told journalists on Friday.

"Russia's general readiness for the introduction of such sanctions is important. We find it premature to speak of the details," the source said.

He added that at the top-level talks in Paris the sides will discuss the Iranian nuclear problem in a broad context: "They will compare approaches to interaction in the framework of the Sextet."
