NAZRAN. March 19 (Interfax) - Three police officers have been injured in a shooting and grenade attack on a road patrol station on the Kavkaz federal motorway in Nazran.
"The shooting occurred at 11:40 p.m. Moscow time. According to early reports, there are some casualties. The police opened a return fire, and the assailants escaped," a source in regional law enforcement authorities told Interfax.
As a result of the shooting three police officers who were on duty suffered slight injuries, a source at the Ingushetia Interior Ministry said.
"The injured received medical help and refused to be hospitalized," the source said.
The inquiry into the incident continues.
