Russia may adjust operational support of terrorism-related criminal cases - Medvedev

MAKHACHKALA. April 1 (Interfax) - Russia might adjust investigative and judicial procedures to improve operational support of criminal cases related to terrorism, said Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

"In theory, we could agree to quite significant changes, only if they can be efficient," Medvedev said at a conference in Makhachkala on Thursday.

Such changes are made by all countries facing the threat of terrorism, he said.

"The leaders of various countries have called me over the past several days, they all suffer from terrorists. This is solidarity," he said.

International cooperation in the war on terror should be continued, but "the main responsibility rests with us ourselves," he said.
