MOSCOW. April 6 (Interfax) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will pay a working visit to the Czech Republic on April 7-8, the Kremlin said.
On April, Medvedev is scheduled to have negotiations with U.S. President Barack Obama, which will be followed by the signing of the new treaty on measures further reducing and limiting strategic offensive arms.
Medvedev is expected to meet with his Czech counterpart Vaclav Klaus during his visit on April 7.
Russian presidential aide Sergei Prikhodko told reporters the Russian-Czech summit will address issues relating to bilateral trade, economic and cultural cooperation and also issues relating to Russia-EU and Russia-NATO relations.
Medvedev and Klaus met during an official visit by the Czech president to Russia in October 2009 and at the Russia-EU summit in Khabarovsk in May 2009 when the Czech Republic chaired the European Union.
