MOSCOW. April 12 (Interfax-AVN) - Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Gen. Nikolai Makarov has called the possible bombing of Iran by the United States or Israel "an extreme option which nobody has the right to permit."
"As for the possible bombings, I doubt it that they may occur, even though I think that such plans exist," he said at a Monday press conference in Moscow.
He also said that the question of delivering S-300 air defense missile systems should be first "decided at government level."
