MOSCOW. April 22 (Interfax) - The Georgian opposition is to stage a rally outside the Georgian parliament on April 30 demanding an immediate release of political prisoners.
There are about 60 political prisoners in Georgian prisons today, and "time has come in Georgia that people should arrest Saakashvili rather than Saakashvili arrest people," one of the opposition leaders Levan Gachechiladze told a briefing on Thursday.
Gachechiladze did not rule out that the protest action may grow into a mass rally.
