Over 30 kilograms of heroin seized in Perm Territory

PERM. April 29 (Interfax) - The drug police in Perm Territory have arrested two Tajik citizens after seizing a large batch of heroin.

"Thirty-three kilograms of heroin have been seized. The suspects have been detained," the drug police reported

The drugs were hidden in a van filled with seeds. "Nine sacks of raisins, discovered underneath the seeds, contained 112 packs of heroin," the police said.

The drugs were intended to be sold in Perm Territory, they said.

"The amount of heroin in the drug was at least five times higher than in 'street' drugs, according to laboratory tests, they said.
