YouTube cop plans nationwide rally on June 12

NOVOSIBIRSK. May 13 (Interfax) - Former Russian police officer Alexei Dymovsky, who became widely known after posting an online video last year alleging corruption in the police force in his home town, plans to organize a nationwide rally on June 12 to highlight widespread abuse of office within the law enforcement and judicial systems.

We want to draw attention to instances of abuse in Novosibirsk, the Omsk region, and the Temryuk district in the Krasnodar territory, Dymovsky told journalists in his home town of Novosibirsk on Wednesday.

He expects various public and political organizations to participate in the rally and plans to meet with their representatives soon.

Dymovsky did not specify which cities and towns will host the rally, but said that he plans to be in Sochi on June 12.
