NALCHIK. May 24 (Interfax) - Gunmen killed three employees of the Kabardian-Balkarian department of the Federal Corrections Service on Saturday morning, a local law enforcement source told Interfax.
"Unidentified gunmen fired at employees of a female penitentiary in the village of Sovetsky, the Prokhladny district. Three Federal Corrections Service employees were killed and one wounded," the source said.
"Federal Corrections Service employees working at a female penitentiary in the village of Sovetsky were standing at a bus stop when they were fired upon from a VAZ-21099 car passing by at about 10:10 a.m. Moscow time. Three of them died on the spot, and one more female employee was wounded," he said.
The gunmen are being searched for.
