MOSCOW. June 22 (Interfax) - United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) plans to increase production of civilian aircraft, said Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
"In 2011-2013 the UAC expects to triple its output of civilian aircraft, that is switch from a limited to serial production," Putin said at a meeting which focused on the 2011-2013 budget spending for industrial production and transport.
Implementing these plans will require further re-equipment of aircraft manufacturers, he said.
