NALCHIK. June 23 (Interfax) - Kabardian-Balkarian law enforcement agencies discovered a clandestine laboratory for manufacturing improvised explosive devices in a private house in Baksan on Wednesday, the Kabardian-Balkarian operational headquarters told Interfax.
"Four improvised explosive devices ready for use equivalent to roughly 12 kilos of TNT were also discovered there," a headquarters source said.
Four residents of the Baksan district aged from 21 to 23 were also detained, he said.
"This group was a structural element of the Kabardian-Balkarian underground and was involved in terrorism-related crimes in the republic's territory," he said.
