Russian Black Sea Fleet to receive new ships - Serdyukov

PARTENIT, Crimea, Ukraine. June 24 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia's Black Sea Fleet is set to receive new ships within the next ten years, said Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov.

"They will be new ships," Serdyukov told journalists on Thursday, commenting on the reports about plans to supply 15 ships to the BSF before 2020.

Any matters concerning the Black Sea Fleet's presence and reinforcements will be agreed with Ukraine, said Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhaylo Yezhel.
