MOSCOW. July 16 (Interfax-AVN) - The Khrunichev Space Center will take in several more rocket construction companies, but there are no plans to join the Energomash research and production corporation, based in Khimki, Khrunichev Director General Vladimir Nesterov told the media.
"I have no plans to take in Energomash," Nesterov said commenting on media reports, claiming that Energomash could be joined to Khrunichev.
Nesterov also announced that at the next stage of enlarging the holding company, Khrunichev would take in the Pilyugin automatics and instrument building research and production center, and the Ust-Katav Machine-Building Plant.
The idea of forming integrated structures has justified itself from an economic point of view globally, he also said.
"A single management and a single production structure and purchasing and labor distribution patterns bring much better results than separate companies," Nesterov said.
Khrunichev currently comprises the Polyot company, based in Omsk, the Voronezh Mechanical Plant, the Korolyov Chemical Machine-building Design Bureau, the Voronezh Chemical Automatics Design Bureau and the Proton-PM engine manufacturer, based in Perm.
