Dagestani police investigator's killing allegedly contracted by son - FSB

MAKHACHKALA. Aug 18 (Interfax) - Russian police have said the killing of Yunus Khulatayev, a deputy chief of the Interior Ministry's investigative department for Dagestan, who was gunned down at his home on August 1, was contracted by his son.

Two men suspected of belonging to a terrorist group, including Gadzhimurad Khulatayev, Yunus Khulatayev's son born in 1992, were detained in Makhachkala on Tuesday, the Federal Security Service (FSB) department for Dagestan told Interfax.

"It has been found out that the son contracted this crime. He confessed in giving evidence that he was tied to the extremist underground and could not calmly put up with his father's job," the FSB said.
