Ukraine, Russia to work on additional fleet agreements - ambassador

MOSCOW. June 7 (Interfax) - Moscow and Kyiv could sign additional agreements on the Russian Black Sea Fleet's presence in Crimea before the end of the year.

"A task was set to do this as soon as possible, before the end of the year," Ukrainian ambassador to Russia, Volodymyr Yelchenko, said at a news conference in Moscow on Tuesday.

But Yelchenko acknowledged that this goal would not be easy to attain.

"I don't know whether this will be done [by year's end,]" he said.
