VLADIKAVKAZ. Sept 9 (Interfax) - A suicide bomber was behind Thursday morning's deadly car bomb attack at the central market in the city of Vladikavkaz in North Ossetia, the republic's leader, Taimuraz Mamsurov, told Interfax.
"Information that I possess indicates that the explosion in Vladikavkaz was organized by a suicide bomber, who drove a Volga 3102 car to near the entrance to the market," Mamsurov said.
"Preliminary reports indicate that the terrorist attack killed eight and injured more than 30 people. Unfortunately, some of those injured are in critical condition, and the death toll could grow," Mamsurov said.
