MOSCOW. Sept 17 (Interfax-AVN) - Four Tu-95МS strategic bombers have flown a 14-hour flight over the Pacific and Arctic Oceans and the Sea of Japan, Russian Defense Ministry press officer Vladimir Drik told Interfax-AVN on Thursday.

"Pairs of planes flew simultaneously in two directions. At different stages of the route, Russian long-range planes were accompanied by Japanese, British, and Norwegian fighters," Drik said.

The Тu-95МS planes took off from the air bases Engels and Ukrainka, Drik said.

"All Air Force flights have been conducted in strict compliance with the international rules for using the airspace over neutral waters without violating the borders of other countries, Drik said.
