MOSCOW. Oct 27 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia will invest about 60 billion rubles in the GLONASS navigation satellite cluster before 2020, Federal Space Agency deputy head Anatoly Shilov said on Wednesday.
"The GLONASS federal program for the period until 2020 will not be smaller than the previous program," he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov said that Russia invested about 60 billion rubles in the previous GLONASS program for the period until 2010.
"The new program will assign less funds for the orbiting cluster and more funds for consumer devices, cartography and commercialization of GLONASS," he said.
