MOSCOW. Oct 29 (Interfax-AVN) - A host of emergencies have occurred aboard the first digital manned spacecraft Soyuz TMA-M, a source in the rocket and space industry told Interfax-AVN on Friday.
"The pressure rose inside the spacecraft's descent vehicle because of an oxygen leak before the launch, the switchboard computer reloaded before docking with the International Space Station and the analog-digital processor broke down during the autonomous flight," he said.
None of the technical failures posed a hazard to the crew, he added.
The Russian rocket and space corporation Energia has set up a commission of experts to investigate the emergencies and fix the malfunctions, the source said.
