MOSCOW. Nov 1 (Interfax) - A petrol bomb was thrown by attackers at a police station in northern Moscow in the early hours of Monday morning, a police spokesman told Interfax.
"Several people ran up to the Khovrino district police station at 2 Petrozavodskaya street at about 1:00 a.m. on November 1 and tossed a bottle with incendiary liquid at a first-floor window. Luckily, the bottle hit a windowsill and the flame burned nothing but the stone wall," he said.
The flame died out in ten minutes, and firemen had to extinguish nothing but grass and leaves, the source said.
"Policemen examining the incident scene found dozens of provocative leaflets near an adjacent house," he said.
Forensic experts are working at the scene. A criminal case may be launched soon.
