MOSCOW. Nov 1 (Interfax) - Russia hopes that negotiations on the Iranian nuclear problem will resume in November, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told a press conference after negotiations with German counterpart Guido Westerwelle.
"There is a common interest in the soonest resumption of the negotiations, and we ask Tehran to give a constructive reply to the proposals. Hopefully, the negotiations may resume this month," he said.
Lavrov said he discussed Iran with Westerwelle among other issues of mutual interest.
"We discussed all the issues in which our countries cooperate in various formats, including the 3+3 group handling the Iranian nuclear problem," Lavrov said.
