MOSCOW. Nov 1 (Interfax) - The Russian Foreign Ministry has told Japanese Ambassador in Moscow Masaharu Kono that Japanese demarches related to the working trip of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev to the Kuril Islands are impermissible.
"It was indicated to the Japanese side that its attempts to influence the choice of domestic routes by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev were totally unacceptable and incompatible with neighborly relations between Russia and Japan that have taken shape in recent years," the ministry said on Monday.
