MOSCOW. Nov 2 (Interfax) - A European missile defense system that has transformed "into an American umbrella" over the continent will not suit Russia, Russia's ambassador to NATO Dmitry Rogozin said.
"If it [the missile shield in Europe] is going to be an American system simply on European money, on European soil, with no guarantee that in the future it will not be deployed against the Russian Federation, that cannot be alright with us," Rogozin said on Rossiya 24 television.
