TEHRAN. Nov 3 (Interfax-AVN) - Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad claimed on Wednesday that Russia backtracked on the S-300 missile system contract with Iran under the influence of the United States.
Russia "surrendered us to our enemies when it cancelled the contract," Ahmadinejad said in a speech broadcasted on state television.
"Some think under Satan's influence that they may illegally and unilaterally backtrack on a defense contract, and that this will deal a blow on the Iranian nation," the Iranian president said.
